Funds raised will go towards supporting the purchase of new ultrasound machines in our Women & Infants Health Program. Sinai Health has a current need to replace 22 ultrasounds in the Centre for Excellence in Obstetrical Ultrasound and the Speciality Pregnancy Program.

Each year, the Frances Bloomberg Centre for Women’s and Infants’ Health welcomes over 7,000 babies into the world. Specialists provide leading-edge fertility support for aspiring parents, as well as comprehensive care for patients faced with any pregnancy complication.  This specialized area of care includes:

State-of-the-art imaging is critically important to this specialized care, enabling our specialists to closely monitor babies’ development – and to intervene with cutting-edge treatment when needed.
 
By helping renew the hospital’s ultrasound fleet, we will enable Sinai Health to deliver life-saving care for thousands of pregnant patients and their babies each year.
